Dick is our Cabinet Shop Manager and has 40 years of cabinetry experience. He owned Mountain Oaks Cabinetry in Austin, MN for 28 years before joining the Elias team. Dick and his wife, Kay, reside in Dexter, MN and have been married for 42 years with two children and four grandchildren.
John lives in St. Ansgar, Iowa with his wife Allison and three kids, Lucas, Maddie and Hunter. Before joining the Elias team, he worked side by side with his Dad for 16 years at Mountain Oaks Cabinetry in Austin, MN. In his free time, John likes to be outside with his family, watch Minnesota sports, and investigate the paranormal.
Tim brings 8 years of cabinetry experience to the Elias Custom Cabinetry team, with hands-on expertise in every stage of the cabinet-making process. His favorite part? The finishing work — where each piece really comes to life. Originally from northern Minnesota, Tim now lives in the area with his big family. When he's not in the shop, you can find him watching a hockey game or tuning into a round of golf.
Curtis, a Rochester native, joined Elias Construction in the summer of 2024, bringing six years of woodworking experience and a strong passion for craftsmanship to the Custom Cabinetry team. Off the clock, he loves a good round of golf, spending time with family and friends, catching live music at concerts, and is always ready for a tropical escape — especially if it includes a long walk on the beach and soaking up the sun.
James was born and raised in Rochester and resides there to this day. He has 25 years of experience and had his own finish carpentry business. James considers himself a family man with three kids, a people person and an artist.
Luke is a talented cabinet installer who discovered his passion early, building cabinets alongside his father in the family shop. With hands-on experience in every part of the process — from unloading boards off the truck to securing the finished pieces to the walls — he takes pride in quality craftsmanship. When he's not working, Luke enjoys spending time with his fiancée and three bonus children, checking out car shows, hitting the golf course, and taking on any adventure that comes his way.
Owen has been involved with Elias one way or another since he was twelve years old. He took shop class in school and enjoys working at the shop after school and during the summers, learning the craftsmanship of custom cabinetry from the team of experts at Elias Custom Cabinetry.
Lexi joined the team as a Cabinet Project Consultant after five years in the interior design industry. With a degree in Interior Design, she specializes in custom cabinetry and enjoys guiding clients through the design process to create spaces that are both functional and beautiful. Lexi is passionate about problem-solving, thoughtful design, and ensuring every client feels confident and excited about the final result. Outside of work, she enjoys boating with her fiance, Dawson, taking long walks with their dog, Billie, and spending time with friends and family.
Prior to starting Elias Construction, Mickey worked as a finish carpenter and still enjoys getting out his tool belt, whether it's on the job site helping the Elias crew or around his home. When not swinging a hammer or managing the company, Mickey spends his time with his wife, Holly, and their two young children, Owen and Cora, at their country home Annendale Acres.
